Barefoot® Physio Saddle Pad System

The Barefoot® Physio Saddle Pad System is designed to provide ideal pressure absorption and distribution for all our saddle models. Developed for long rides, round horses, and those with protruding spinous processes, each physio pad is shaped to fit the horse's spine and offers additional clearance and lift over the thoracic vertebrae. This system consists of two components that are securely connected with velcro and offer pressure absorption. The lower part is made of quilted cotton, thinned under the upper thigh for close leg contact, with removable pressure-absorbing foam inserts. The upper layer is quilted cotton with a felt underside, poly fleece inside, and a foam layer on top for additional pressure absorption and non-slip grip. The included shims, can further customize the fit. The saddle pad is machine washable at 30 degrees and features an anatomical cut, spinal clearance, and cushioning for the horse's comfort.
