Forsythia Mug

This mug is printed with a hand-painted branch of Forsythia flowers. A member of the olive family, Forsythia are some of the first brilliant yellow flowers to emerge in the spring. Named after the Scottish botanist William Forsyth, these flowers appear well before their leaves. Most species of this plant originated in Eastern Asia, but one species, Forsythia europaea, is native to Albania and Montenegro.
