Wait 5 minutes, then read the result. Do not read after 5 minutes. How to Read Results Negative: Two lines appear — one in the C (Control) area and one in the T (Test) area. Even a faint line in the T area is a negative result. Preliminary Positive: Only one line appears in the C (Control) area. No line at all in the T (Test) area. Invalid: No line in the C (Control) area. Discard and retest with a new strip. Important: A positive result is preliminary and should be confirmed by a laboratory.
