Enbeam OS2 singlemode G.657.A1 multi loose tube fibre cable is designed for external fibre optic installations in underground duct systems. It is suitable for access networks, FTTP/FTTx distribution, campus links and other outdoor telecoms routes where a water-blocked, duct-grade fibre cable is required. The cable uses multiple gel-filled loose tubes arranged around a central strength member. Water-blocking yarn and water-blocking tape provide moisture protection, with a black HDPE outer sheath for external duct environments. The G.657.A1 bend-insensitive fibre is compatible with OS2 9/125 singlemode infrastructure and standard 1310 nm / 1550 nm transmission windows. The HDPE sheath and water-blocked construction make it suitable for underground external duct routes; installers should check project CPR and internal routing requirements before taking the cable inside buildings.
