Toasted Sugar is a warm opaque cadmium brown borosilicate glass that sits between Fried Batter and Chocolate Crayon on the Glass Alchemy palette. Darker and richer than Fried Batter, but lighter and warmer than Chocolate Crayon, it develops the look of caramelized sugar and toasted edges fresh from the oven. Creamy and stable in the flame, it performs reliably across lampworking applications including sculptural work, blown glass, and food-themed pieces. A versatile warm brown for artists looking for depth without pushing fully into dark chocolate tones. Working Tip: Pre-heat in outer flame. Avoid rapid heating.
