Pedrera Coffee Table, Structured Glass

Conceived in 1955 by Barba Corsini, the Pedrera Coffee Table draws directly from the sinuous language of Antoni Gaudí and the fluid stone façade of Casa Milà. Its sculptural steel base supports a softly rounded glass top, capturing the building’s sense of movement and organic rhythm. This Structured Glass edition introduces a reimagined top, offered in three atmospheric finishes—Transparent, Smoke, and Bronze—paired with frames in black, chrome, or brass. Handcrafted in Italy, each piece is produced using traditional glass-fusing techniques, resulting in a subtly rippled underside that animates light and reflection. The glass is tinted through its mass rather than coated, preserving clarity and depth while resisting surface wear. Fully tempered, it balances refinement with resilience. The textured glass tabletop brings a new dimensionality to Corsini’s iconic design, enhancing its architectural presence while honoring its enduring elegance. First reissued in 1991 by Galeria H2O under the direction of Joaquim Ruiz Millet, the Pedrera Coffee Table remains a timeless dialogue between architecture, material craft, and modern design.
