Tinctoria Mug

The Nila x Zsuzsanna Nyul Ceramics collection was developed as a collaboration with the Hungarian artist. Zsuzsanna was inspired by the shapes of the indigenous Indian indigo species, Indigofera Tinctoria, to create these handprinted designs. Her final handmade samples were re-interpreted using local clays from various parts of Rajasthan and painted by hand with local artisans. The Essence and Tinctoria collection is designed to be mixed - the two designs work beautifully together on a bare table or with neutral linens.
