MAGNIFICENT MIRIAM COAT

The Magnificent Miriam coat is truly that! Magnificent in all of the ways: style, weight and embroidery. This upcycled coat is unusual because of it's easy, lightweight cotton base. Typically, this type of Afghan embroidery is found on much weightier designs. The black cotton pleated skirt of this coat is light as a feather with a great flair and dynamic movement. The upper embroidered bodice is again on a nice black cotton which allows the gorgeous Afghan embroidery to really pop. The rainbow of colors are embroidered in traditional Afghan motifs. Gorgeous reds, yellows, teals, pinks cover the the back and sleeves. A fantastic floral fiesta of embroidery flows down the lapel from neck to hem. Six buttons with 2 side vent pockets. OOAK. Size Medium with a 44" chest with a slight dolman chest to sleeve for an easy (and forgiving) fit. This coat will work throughout all of the seasons.
