2022 'Colibri' Lodi Carignane

Enjoy chilled for a light, smooth and refreshing experience This beautiful and subtle wine comes from the 117yr old Rauser Carignane vineyard in Lodi I decided to depart from my usual style and focus on a natural fermentation and allowing the vineyard to express itself. This balanced light red gives light notes under ripe cherry and strawberry finishing with very light vanilla oak. Although the wine contains ZERO sugar it is SMOOTH. This wine has been popular with new wine drinkers and experienced wine drinkers alike and was the star of the show at my most recent barrel tasting in Lodi. Give it a try!
