Helene 2010 Grande Cuvee tas Sparkling

Grant Burge's tas sparkling, 'Helene' has been awarded several trophies in its vintage history. Sourced from the Pipers River region northeast of Launceston, the 54% Pinot Noir and 46% Chardonnay blend was aged on lees for eight years in the bottle before disgorgement. In the best tasn style, Helene (named for Grant Burge's wife's old family home in Hobart) is delicate but full-flavoured with the enriching leesy complexity that you would expect after maturation in bottle of nearly 8 years.
