Kids in the Kitchen: My Favorite Grown-Up & Me Chocolate Artists & Shake Makers Our one kids event of the year. July 21st. Three sessions. Limited spots. Some summers blur together. This one won't. On July 21st, Captain's Chocolate is opening its doors for one day of pure chocolatey creativity. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or favorite aunt — this is the kind of summer day kids talk about for years and grown-ups secretly love just as much. Every visit starts with a complimentary tasting of our hand-molded chocolate chips and the story behind them — grown by small indigenous farmers in the rainforests of Costa Rica. Real chocolate, made with ingredients you can actually pronounce, from people who care how it's grown. Here's what you and your junior chocolatier will make: 🍫 Chocolate Coins Two chocolate coins, a piping bag of creamy peanut butter or fluffy marshmallow fluff — squeeze, top, and eat immediately. Pure joy. 🎨 Chocolate Bark Masterpiece Each participant gets their own chocolate canvas to design a one-of-a-kind masterpiece with a full spread of toppings — total creative freedom, no two alike. Wrapped up and taken home as a sweet edible trophy of a summer afternoon well spent. 🥤 Cacao Brew Shake A shake you get to help blend and customized just the way you like it — Triple Chocolate or Banana Blast, made with real Sassy Cow ice cream and Captain's own cacao brew straight from Costa Rica. What to Bring: An apron or an old shirt — things will get wonderfully messy.
