The 2019 Ink Grade Andosol (750ml) is a bold, polished California red blend primarily composed of Zinfandel, rooted in the volcanic, high-elevation terroir of Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. It balances intense, dark fruit with vibrant acidity, making it highly regarded for its elegance and aging potential. Tasting Notes: Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and violet. The palate is layered with dark berries, plum, cocoa, and subtle earthy, graphite minerality driven by the volcanic tufa soils. Mouthfeel: Structured yet refined, featuring bright, lifted acidity, finely polished tannins, and a long, lingering finish. Aging: Aged for 1 year in used upright oak tanks and 2 years in French oak barrels (30% new).
