Manawaroa draws inspiration from the traditional pākati pattern, symbolising resilience, determination, and strength through challenge. The repeated notched forms reflect perseverance and dedication to a kaupapa, honouring the enduring spirit to overcome adversity. Produced in our Levin studio from MDF board, each 150 x 150mm plaque is designed to bring depth, texture, and visual interest to interior spaces. Whether displayed as a standalone accent or arranged in larger groupings, the relief surface responds to light and shadow throughout the day. A flexible mounting system allows multiple display orientations to suit your space, while an optional stand lets you display the plaque on a shelf, desk, or other surface. Available in a growing range of designs and colours. Designed and made in Aotearoa.
