PRISM Lamp

The PRISM lamp breaks light the way a prism does. Light shines out through the geometric facets of the cylindrical shade in a warm glow with sparkling accents. During the day, the open, industrial form is a stylish object in itself, and in the evening the soft light gives your corner a warm, intimate feel. Its compact, slender shape sits beautifully on your nightstand or desk, on a narrow shelf, or as a mood-setter in the living room. I make and assemble each PRISM lamp to order in my studio in Zeewolde. I build the parts layer by layer from recycled plastic, made from food packaging from the Benelux. The process takes around fifteen hours and gives each lamp its own subtle details you can see and feel. So you knowingly choose circular design from the Netherlands, made to last for years.
