The Veragua Machete is completely made of 18k or 14k solid gold and handcrafted in Costa Rica. This gold pendant includes a stainless steel chain, if you want a silver chain, please refer to "Customize your own chain". If you'd like a gold chain, write to us and we'll send you a quote. Please note: 14K gold has a slightly softer/lighter tone than 18K gold. Product photos only show the 18K version.
