It's lightweight enough to keep your bag from feeling heavy, but structured enough to hold its form all day long. When do you reach for sew-in foam? When fusible isn't an option. Some of our favourite fabrics – like our bonded poly-nylon DayFlex – don't play well with heat. Fusible interfacing needs an iron to bond, and that heat can disrupt the integrity of technical and coated fabrics. Sew-in foam skips the heat entirely. It's stitched in place between your fabric layers, so your fabric stays exactly as it should be – no bubbling, no warping, no drama. Got shipping wrinkles? Use your iron on a warm steam setting with a pressing cloth over top. Never iron directly onto the foam.
