Organic Pendant Class

Join us for a jewellery-making experience where you'll create your own beautiful organic hoop pendant. Choose between a mixed-metal design made from brass and sterling silver, or upgrade to an all sterling silver pendant for a classic option. During this hands-on beginners workshop in our Kirkwall classroom, you'll make a three-loop pendant, similar to one in our Organic range of jewellery, and learn essential jewellery-making techniques. You'll be guided through each step to create a unique pendant to take home and treasure. Skills you'll learn include soldering, texturing, cutting and filing. All equipment and materials are provided. The workshop price includes the materials needed to create your pendant. Please note that chains are not included in the workshop fee but can be purchased in a variety of styles and lengths as an optional extra on the day. Classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students (minimum 3 required to run) and last approximately 2.5 hours. The minimum age is 16; those aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. There's no upper age limit. After the workshop, you'll enjoy a discount on jewellery purchases at our Kirkwall and Stromness shops. Please note the workshop is on the first floor, accessed by stairs. As a beginners class, no experience is needed—just book early as places are limited to 6 per class.
