Odyssea "Side-Bar" Wide Tracking Spreader Bar

The Odyssea Wide Tracking Spreader Bar enables you to fish multiple bars or lures without outriggers. The center bird is equipped with an angled rudder that when pulled behind your boat will track at an angle to the port or starboard side depending how it is set. While there are other side tracking bars on the market, our model is built with several features that make it stand in a class of its own. The Odyssea Wide Tracker is constructed locally in So Cal, enabling us to provide attention to detail in quality and craftsmanship. Like all of our spreader bars, every detail is meticulously cared for and thought out. The tracking rudder is thick and durable preventing cracking and breaking when hitting the deck. We include 2 of our signature rattles that fish cant resist and floats in each squid teaser. The bar is weighted with a 2oz egg sinker on one side which provides stability to the bar with forward motion. Due to the angled rudder pushing the bar to one side as water hits it, the bar naturally wants to tip on one side. The weight stabilizes the opposite side preventing the bar from flipping. When deploying this bar you must be in gear moving at a forward rate of speed (3-5mph). Drop the bar into the water making sure the teasers are not tangled. Put some pressure on the spool as you drop it back. You can leave it in the holder with light drag for pressure. This allows the bar to stay upright. If you deploy the bar while boat is stopped, it will simply flip. It sounds complex but it is very easy once you do it. The 36 inch wide tracking bar includes 5 drops of teasers just like the original bar. Note: Bars are interchangeable port to starboard. If you want us to set it for you at a certain side, please just note in your order. Port or Starboard. It is very easy to adjust with a screw driver. (Unscrew single screw, pull off rudder, turn rudder opposite direction and slide rudder back over metal post. tighten screws once more. Lastly, switch the line with the sinker to the opposite side of the bar with the line that has no sinker. You will use split ring pliers to do so.) Most customers simply buy a port and a starboard bars so then never need to adjust anything. Side Bar includes: -1/8 inch Titanium bar in 36 inch size - 10 or 7 inch Odyssea Bird with side 1/4 thick rudder (10” for 36 - 2 x 5 inch mini splash birds (on 36 only) - 5 drops with 9 teaser squid on bar or 3 drops with 7 squid on 18 inch. Must be light. - Vortex rattles - Floats in each teaser to help bar float -450lb Double ball bearing swivel, chafe tube on all connections -300lb Smoke Blue Mono (other sizes at request) -1 Chase bait (usually lime glow color as this is very productive) rigged on 300lb Aftco Seiko Flourocarbon or mono if you prefer.
