Fluorescent Murano glass table lamp by PVM, 1970s
Very interesting and rare table lamp, made by a rather unknown Italian brand called PVM. This special table lamp is made of a metal base and a blue fluorescent Murano glass lampshade. The lamp features an uncommon sight: glass stalactites that are illuminated from below. In the Formaluce magazine, it is described as an unusual effect. Throughout the years of Italian design, we have not seen anything similar to this. This lamp is often wrongly attributed to Toni Zuccheri or Carlo Nason. Overall, it is a very special lamp that remains in excellent condition. Literature: Formaluce magazine N.30 September – October 1972, page 37.
