Know before you go to the Bath • There are some hamam etiquette rules to be followed. • Hızırbey Hamamı is a mixed-gender bath, suitable for couples. • Hamam provides towels, traditional Turkish bath towels (peştemal), and slippers for your use at the hamam. You are also welcome to bring any personal belongings you wish to use. The choice is entirely yours. • Hızırbey Hamamı is open every day from 8 am to 10 pm. • Therapists doing the hammam and massage are only women. • Standard soap is used.
