Handmade Doll - Sophia

This doll is made by a collaboration with a social enterprise in New Delhi, India, Silaiwali, who work with Afghan women refugees to up-cycle waste fabric generated from apparel scraps to hand craft these beautiful dolls. These products are Eco-friendly and support families of refugees to rehabilitate and build communities of artisans. Silaiwali carefully handpicks beautiful Indian cotton waste fabric to develop a line of simple yet sophisticated rag dolls. Each piece is designed, cut, stitched and embroidered with lots of love and passion.
