A pair of vintage brass wall candle sconces made by Arthur Pettersson (Arthur PE) in Kolbäck, Sweden, circa 1960s. The sconces feature a refined mid-century modern design with circular wall mounts, slender candle holders, and suspended brass discs that create a balanced, sculptural appearance. Their clean geometric lines reflect the understated elegance associated with Scandinavian design of the period. Both sconces are marked “Arthur PE Kolbäck”. Sold as a matched pair. Arthur Pettersson (1919–2015), known as Arthur PE, was a Swedish brass artisan who worked in Kolbäck throughout his life. Inspired by the traditions of nearby Skultuna, he produced handcrafted brass objects in his own workshop and became known for his distinctive brasswork and enduring designs.
