12 Inch Wooden Squeegee

Our 12 inch squeegee is recommended for use with our 18"x20" pre-burned screens when maxing out the image area. It is available in a variety of durometers (blade stiffness) for different printing applications. Below you'll find descriptions for each hardness, but when in doubt we recommend sticking with the 70 duro blade as it works well for almost all applications. 70 durometer squeegees are a medium hardness, and are the most commonly used. A 70 duro squeegee blade works well with almost any screen printing application, and is a great starter option for the beginning screen printer. 80 durometer squeegees are fairly hard, and are great for fine detail printing. They also work really with water based inks, and create a nice soft hand. 80 duro squeegees are also commonly used for printing inside neck labels to help prevent bleed through. 60 durometer squeegees are the softest blades available, and lay down the most ink. They work great for jobs that require a heavy ink deposit, and are commonly used in discharge and high density printing. 70/90/70 Triple durometer squeegees have a soft outer and hard inner, giving you the best of both worlds. The soft outer provides a nice smooth ink coverage, and the hard inner provides fine detail capabilities and a longer lifespan. Triple duro squeegees are excellent for fine halftone printing and pretty much all other printing applications.
