Oven Preventive Maintenance Checklist Electrical: Checked electrical cords for fraying, deterioration, missing ground lugs, or burnt connectors Electrical: Checked that power cords are secured to the junction boxes Electrical: Checked internal wiring for loose connections and/or discoloration Electrical: Checked contactors and relays for signs of arcing or loose connections Mechanical: Checked door hinges, brushing, handle, latches, or door catch, turnbuckles, gasket, legs, caster wheels, and knobs for wear or missing parts Mechanical: Checked door alignment and verify that it closes evenly Oven Cavity: Checked that the fan blade is clean and removed debris in or around the blades. Oven Cavity: Checked fan motor for axial and radial looseness Oven Cavity (Electric Units): Checked the elements for cracks, deterioration, warpage, and ensure the element is secured to support brackets Oven Cavity: Verified the main blower motor air vents are clean Oven Cavity: Checked that the cooling fans are clean and airflow is unobstructed Test Operation: Turn on unit and tested operation Test Operation: Checked all switches (on/off, fan speed, lights) Test Operation: Checked that the door switch operates correctly Test Operation: Verified the timer is operating Test Operation: Checked that all pads are operating correctly Test Operation: Checked that the fan blade rotation is correct Electric Heat Units: Checked that the voltage and amp draw matches specs on the data plate Electric Heat Units: Checked the heat contactor for noise and operation Oven Temp: Confirmed temperature at 350°F Cleaned up the area. Refrigeration PM Checklist (Walk-In Freezer & Fridges) Cabinet Temperature (Freezer): Checked inside cabinet storage compartment temperature (Freezers: -10°F to 3°F; Refrigerators: 34°F to 40°F Cabinet Interior Light: Checked interior light to ensure function and verify cover is in place Compressor: Checked temperature on the discharge line (not to exceed 225°F) Electrical Wiring Check: Checked internal wiring for loose connections and/or discoloration; checked contactors for signs of arcing or loose connections. Evaporator Fan Blades: Checked fan blades for cracks, looseness, and vibration Evaporator Fan Blades: Checked evaporator fan shaft and blade hub for snug connection Evaporator Fan Blades: Checked blades Evaporator Fan Motor: Checked fan motors for axial and radial looseness as well as noisy operation Evaporator Fan Motor: Checked wind-down time as fan motors come to a stop Evaporator Coil: Checked that evaporator coil is clean and clear; removed all obstructions Evaporator Drain Pan: Checked the evaporator drain pan for leaks Evaporator Drain Pan: Checked drain line; not clogged Condenser Fan Blades: Checked fan blades for looseness and vibration Condenser Fan Blades: Cleaned blades Condenser Fan Motor: Checked fan motors for axial and radial looseness as well as noisy operation Condenser Fan Motor: Checked wind-down time as fan motors come to a stop Air-Cooled: Checked for dirt, dust, and other air restrictions on the condenser coil fins Air-Cooled: Checked for any signs of refrigerant leaks Cabinet Interior/Exterior: Checked for moisture or condensation on the interior and exterior of the cabinet Door Hinges: Lubricated hinges as needed Door Gasket: Checked doors for proper seal Door Gasket: Checked to make sure that gaskets are clean of dirt and debris Temperature Setting: Walk-in freezer and fridges are set to the customer's desired temperatures.
