Alternanthera 'Ruby Flake'

Alternanthera thrives as a houseplant. The 'Ruby Flake' variety has small, wavy, green and pink leaves. We love it for its rapid growth and compact habit. It's recommended to pinch the tips of the stems (like basil) to encourage branching and the development of its dense foliage. During its growing season (summer), it prefers moist soil.
