A spectacular original Italian 2 Foglio poster for A Fistful of Dollars, Sergio Leone’s landmark spaghetti Western starring Clint Eastwood as the cool, dangerous Man with No Name. First released in 1964, the film changed the Western forever: sharper, meaner, more stylish and powered by Ennio Morricone’s unforgettable score. This striking 1968 Italian re-release poster was created for the film’s 70mm return, after Leone’s classic had already become a phenomenon. The artwork by Michelangelo Papuzza is pure Italian poster drama. Eastwood stares out in blazing red, blue and black, clutching a literal fistful of dollars against a punchy yellow background. Bold, graphic and full of attitude, it is a superb country-of-origin design for one of the defining films of 1960s cinema. This vintage film poster has been professionally linen-backed. It is sized an impressive 39 X 55 inches (plus a little more with the linen-backing) and will be sent rolled (unframed). Year: R1968 Poster Type: Italian 2 Foglio Style: Art By: Michelangelo Papuzza Rolled/Folded/Other: Rolled - linen-backed Condition: Near Mint/Mint Condition Details: Linen-backed. Looks superb.
