Rousseau, Paris, a good late 19th century bras en l'air mantel clock, carrera white marble base with gadrooned brass feet, cast ornamental moldings and brass mount below a cast female figure within a niche composed of two slender columns supporting an arch with foliate ornament, the back with gilt ivy vine and bellflower ornament on a blue enamel ground, and surmounted by three finials, her hands pointing to the arabic numeral white enamel sectors flanking the case, the arms rising to indicate the time, and falling back when they reach the top, powered by an eight day brass movement with lever platform, the inside of the case stamped "A. Rousseau" Dimensions 18in x 9.5in x 4.75in
