Ink & Charcoal on OSB Board 32" × 48" (81 × 122 cm) Framed A horse takes shape through Gonzalo Pizarro’s process of working directly with the natural grain of OSB, using ink and charcoal to build the image from within the surface. Rather than working against the material, he allows its structure to guide where the figure emerges and where it recedes. The composition is built in stages, with areas of density creating depth while more defined marks bring the subject forward. In Criollo, this approach gives the horse a strong, grounded presence, with the image forming through a balance of control and material response
