Jolly
You don't even know what you're getting yourself into. This is a coffee from Jairo Arcila, grown at Finca Santa Monica in Quindio, Colombia. It's a Castillo variety, honey processed and co-fermented with wine yeast and blackberries. Yow. If you've had our co-ferments in the past, you know some of them are straightforward and some are ridiculous. This one is ridiculous. I get aromatics of peach, passion fruit, lemongrass, watermelon, and a MOUTHFUL of green apple jolly rancher. I know what you're thinking. And I agree. But damn. Sometimes you just have to do it to have the experience. I can't explain it. This is a half pound. Trust me, that's all you'll need. (Comes with your own green apple jolly rancher and in a bag stamped with a retro DoubleShot logo circa 2005.)
