Midweek Magic at Birdsong Brewing- Where clay meets craft beer for a perfectly balanced blend of Clay Therapy + Happy Hour.🍻 Get your hands a little messy and your creativity flowing—spring is calling 🌿 Join Stefanie for this hands-on workshop where you’ll transform a simple ball of clay into your very own ceramic colander. Over the course of two relaxed, creativity-filled hours, you’ll learn the art of pinch forming as you shape your piece into whatever feels right—organic, sculptural or classic, but always completely one-of-a-kind. Design becomes function as you shape and pierce your pattern of holes, creating a beautiful way to rinse berries, strain pasta, wash garden-fresh produce or just house your favorite things in a beautiful way on your counter. Add thoughtful details like handles, feet, a spout—or keep it minimal and timeless. Thoughtfully crafted, uniquely yours—this is your invitation to slow down, play, and make something both beautiful and useful. No experience needed—just bring your imagination! Please arrive early to settle in with your bevie of choice before we have some muddy fun! What happens after? After the workshop, your project will head back to SAS Studios to completely dry out before going in the kiln. After it is bisque fired, Stefanie will glaze your colander in a white glaze then send it back in the kiln to be complete! The entire process generally takes about 4 weeks. Once completed your functional piece will be wrapped up and return to Birdsong in a bag with your name on it! You will receive an email notification that the time has come for project pick up!
