Art Night: Upcycled Jewelry Workshop (Ages 21+) July 18

Upcycled Jewelry Workshop (21 and older) Date: Saturday, July 18 Time: 7:00–9:00 pm Instructor: Melissa N. Give your unworn, broken, or “not really my style anymore” jewelry a second life in this evening of creative upcycling. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore how to transform older pieces into fresh, one-of-a-kind designs using a mix of deconstruction and reconstruction techniques. We’ll cover how to safely take apart existing jewelry, experiment with combining materials in unexpected ways, and use basic jewelry tools and findings to connect, secure, and rebuild elements into new pieces. No prior jewelry experience is needed—just curiosity and a love for making. All tools and materials are provided, including a shared assortment of vintage and costume jewelry to play with. You’re also welcome (and encouraged) to bring your own old or sentimental pieces if you’d like to incorporate them into your designs. By the end of the night, you’ll leave with several unique, wearable pieces and the confidence to keep creating sustainably at home—plus a fun Saturday evening spent making art in good company.
