Custom Fragrance

For the first time ever I will be offering a custom perfume! A perfume formulated to our quality standards usually takes over a hundred hours of labor. Because of this, I see offering custom fragrances as cost-prohibitive. However, this year I'm doing it to raise money for our amazing charities! What's included: Two 30 minute consultations via video call. One initial consultation and one feedback consultation after the draft formula is received. One draft formulation for evaluation and review. One major revision. Two minor revisions. One 30mL bottle of your custom fragrance. FAQ: Will you make a copy of another fragrance? No. I will only make a fragrance in my style, from scratch, just for you! Can I request a specific material? Yes. I have a large palette of both naturals and synthetics. If there is a specific material you'd like in your fragrance that I don't have, I would be happy to procure it for you at cost. Can I request a specific concentration? Yes. My perfumes are 25%, but I can make any concentration. Perfumes tend to smell a bit different depending on the concentration (not just weaker, but different!), so I strongly recommend having a concentration in mind when we get started. Can I reorder the fragrance? This formulation includes a 30mL bottle of your finished fragrance. Subsequent orders of this fragrance will be done for the cost of a standard bottle of the same size plus a $20 compounding fee. The compounding fee will be waived if purchasing 100mL or more. Currently, I only sell 30mL bottles, but I have plans to sell 50mL in the future. Are there any restrictions on notes? There is no restriction on the amount of notes or types of notes you can ask for! I have a large palette of perfumery chemicals and can make pretty much anything you want. However, I cannot make something I've never smelled before. If you have a specific request and I can't get my nose on it (For example: "can you recreate the smell of this discontinued ice cream from my childhood?") I might have to decline unless you're willing to settle for a fantasy interpretation. Can you customize the box/label/color? No, yes, and yes. I have a high MOQ for boxes, so those can't be customized. I will, however, give your perfume a custom name, make a custom label, and allow you to pick a color if you would like color added. I will add a sticker with your perfume name and a private QR code with ingredients, allergens, and important info to the box. I can design, print, and cut the label for you, or you could send me a file and I will print/cut/apply it. What constitutes a major revision? Anything that would require me to change a significant amount of the fragrance. For example: "Can you make the dry down woody instead of floral?". What constitutes a minor revision? Anything that would require me to change one or two materials or adjust the amounts of existing materials. For example: "Can you make the rose note stronger?". How long will this take? I have scheduled 3 months to work on this fragrance with you. The project could take longer, though. This depends on how complex the formula is, how major the revisions are, and how long shipping/evaluation takes. Is the bid refundable? $100 of the bid will immediately be distributed to our 3 charities and will be non-refundable. The rest of the bid will be held until the fragrance is finalized and delivered. This money will be refundable only in the case that I cannot fulfill all of the above deliverables. I bid the highest, does that mean I won? At the end of the auction, I will message all of the top bidders to ensure the chosen winner understands these terms and accepts them. Additionally, I will ask about the concept for the fragrance to ensure it's something I can accomplish. The highest bidder who meets these requirements will win! Is my bid refundable if I don't win? Yes. You will not be charged anything if you don't win the auction.
