Rasor GRT-CROSS 3-Phase Direct Drive Cutting Unit

This powerful 3phase horizontal O.E.M. unit, developed and produced by Rasor®, is designed to cut a wide range of textiles and flexible elastomers up to 25 millimetres thick. The new Rasor GRT-CROSS provides exceptional power and is remarkably easy to use. The new gears reach up to 550rpm and make cutting smooth and flawless. The GRT-CROSS is designed with safety and ease of use in mind. The industrial 3 phases motor, in combination with extra strong steel brass gears, guarantee low maintenance and exceptional durability. The special flange allows the unit to be installed in different ways. The design allows installation in confined spaces, and it can be used for cross, stripe and endless cutting. Featuring finger protection and a semi-automatic sharpening system, the blade can be reconditioned in less than 10 seconds without the need for disassembly. The motor housing is held by a central foot fitted behind the blade in central position. This system allows the pressure to spread and guide the machine through the fabrics on both sides of the blade. The knife is half-free on both sides to avoid winding problems even with tough fibres. It can cut a wide range of materials, from classic fabrics to the latest hybrid weavings.
