Robin Snow Original Oil Painting. This painting was completed June 2026. The size of this framed original oil painting is – 20 x 20 inches approx. (double framed in a neutral inner and coloured outer frame, choices below) I love painting with Oils. Painting wildlife is something I’ve always done in my paintings but never in such a focused way. I enjoyed creating this new range, the detail and character of each animal. For my usual paintings I love the glow of a fire shining out of a window or a doorway in the distance. It makes me want to be inside warming in front of a roaring fire. For me there’s nothing like the magic of a landscape. The comforting warmth and cosiness that’s hard to describe but a real draw to paint, something you feel inside. My style of painting is one which has developed over time and is still evolving with each new painting. Also I try to capture a sense of realism, of being there, without being a slave to photo realism.
