Dežo Ursiny & Provisorium
One of the most important Czechoslovak rock albums of all time. Atmospheric progressive rock with subtle touches of psychedelia and jazz, with a 19-minute suite as the centrepiece of the album. This edition has been expanded with four bonus tracks from a truly fantastic 1968 EP recorded by The Soulmen – Dežo Ursiny’s earlier band, inspired by the music of Cream and The Yardbirds. All tracks on the CD are sung in English. Released in a classic jewel case, with a 16-page full-colour booklet including, among other things, an essay on the leader and his music in both Polish and English, plus great photos and scans of memorabilia. All material has been remastered directly from the original Supraphon master tapes. Excellent music that will delight every fan of classic progressive rock from the first half of the 1970s.
