Ken Matsuzaki -Mashiko Tetsue Soba Choko-
Ken Matsuzaki -Mashiko Tetsue Soba Choko- Born in Tokyo in 1950. He majored in ceramics at Tamagawa University's Department of Arts, and after graduation, he apprenticed under Tatsuzo Shimaoka in Mashiko. After building his own kiln in Mashiko in 1977 and becoming independent, he left his previous style and has been striving to create his own unique style, continuing to work on pottery to this day. Matsuzaki, who produces many tea ceremony ceramics such as Oribe, Shino, and Kiseto, values the expressions that emerge in his works through kiln changes. He challenges himself with wood-fired kilns, and his works, born from his high firing techniques, are highly regarded both domestically and internationally. 《SIZE》 Φ8.5×H6.5cm 《WEIGHT》 180g 《MATERIAL》 Clay *Each piece is handmade.
