Chatsworth House at Christmas (A + MH)

SATURDAY 7th NOVEMBER 2026 ROUTE A + MH For many of our customers, a visit to Chatsworth at Christmas has become a part of their festive tradition. If you haven’t visited Chatsworth before at Christmas, this is great opportunity to find out why it is loved by so many. As you arrive you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of the surrounding Peak District and the breathtaking exterior of ‘The Palace of the Peaks’, Chatsworth House. The Christmas market sells a range of unique gifts to browse, with lots of choice of food to sample and of course the traditional favourites, mulled wine and mince pies are available. The highlight of the visit is undoubtably your self-guided tour of the house, sumptiously decorated each year to a different theme, usually announced in September. The decadence and majesty of the imaginative themes just get better year after year. As dusk falls you can enjoy a stroll through the gardens all beautifully lit with twinkling lights against a magnificent backdrop. And after hard day enjoying everything that Chatsworth has to offer, you can sit back and relax and let our coach driver do the driving!
