Rice Park Card

Hawaii Kawaii: Rice Park Illustrating this made me realize how similar jacaranda season is to sakura season back in Japan. To me they represent spring in the air, fresh starts, childhood innocence… whether its Rice Park, KCC, or another park, cardboard sliding is a friendly alternative to surfing… Growing up in a small place like Maui, when water sports aren’t really you’re thing, you gotta get creative somehow! It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing, its who you’re with that makes the memory so sweet. Mahalo to my English high school teacher @noyatsus for the awesome idea! I based the two girls on her and a childhood friend. Card is blank inside 4.25 x 5.5” with envelope and plastic sleeve
