Knitting FUNdamentals 2: Scarf No. 5 by My Favorite Things - Saturdays 11:30 - 1:00, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16 and 5/30

Flock EweNiversity at Peninsula Flock Knits Knitting FUNdamentals 2 Scarf No. 5 by My Favorite Things We will be knitting a bandana size, simple triangular scarf, knitted from the top down. You will work this garment on circular needles, working back and forth. In this class, we will learn how to work left and right leaning increases, backward and forward loop increases, and yarn overs. Skills Taught: M1L, M1R, yarn over, M1BL, M1FL, slip stitches Class Times: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Saturdays Dates: 5/2, 5/9, 5/16 and 5/30 (skipping 5/23 - Memorial Day weekend) Class Size: 5 students (age 16+) maximum. A minimum of 3 students must register and pay for the class in order for the class to be held. Fee: $150 for four 90-minutes classes. Skill Level: Cast on, knit, purl and bind off Materials: 16” US 5 (4.5mm) circular needles or equivalent interchangeable needle tips and cables. Students can purchase steel or bamboo interchangeable needles and cables of various lengths from Peninsula Flock Kits. Yarn: 2 balls Fonty Polaire. Yarn can be purchased HERE.
