Condition: Brand new core and body This custom cutaway features a Schlage Primus core mounted in a Schlage PL padlock body. The cutaway work is intentionally minimal, preserving strength while exposing the internal mechanics for study, display, and hands-on cycling. The lock remains functional and can be picked, though the cutaway design may change the feedback at the key pins. Because material has been removed near the shear line, careful tension control is recommended during picking. Includes a custom Baby Yoda vanity key. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
