Kapa-Kapa Earrings
The Story: The stunning Medinilla magnifica, also called kapa-kapa or rose grape, is a flowering epiphyte endemic to Luzon and Mindoro. It grows clusters of bright pink to coral-red flowers, capped by vividly pink, cape-like bracts, hence its local name. Though the kapa-kapa is popularly cultivated as a houseplant, it is now very rare to find it in the wild due to loss of habitat from deforestation. Size: Drops 6 cm. Materials: Glass beads, wire, stainless steel earring findings. Stainless steel findings make these safe for sensitive ears. Preorder. Orders ship out in 3 to 4 weeks.
