Nelson Sauvin is named after the Sauvignon Blanc grape and provides lovely notes of white wine grapes, freshly cut grapefruit, and gooseberries. Country of Origin: New Zealand Harvest Year: 2021 Alpha Acid Content: 10,8% Package Size: 100 grams Packaging: The hops are carefully weighed, nitrogen-flushed, and sealed in a light-proof, aluminum-coated package for optimal shelf life. Flushing with nitrogen displaces oxygen, which would otherwise degrade the quality of the hops. This method reduces the oxygen content in the package to 0.6-0.8%, which is excellent for preserving quality, flavor, and aroma. The hops package should be stored in a cool place at <4 degrees Celsius. Once opened, the package should be compressed and sealed with a zip-lock for continued storage in the refrigerator.
