LETS PLAY TABLE

LETS PLAY TABLE. 2026 ARTIST STATEMENT Let’s Play Table explores the explosive development of children’s vocabulary through play, curiosity, and imitation. At the table, words become toys—tested, repeated, and given meaning through the act of saying them. Curse words may come up. Children may understand their meanings, or they may simply recognize the power these words carry. There is something fascinating about the words we teach children to avoid and the words they discover on their own. The table becomes a space to examine language, expression, and the thrill of saying something you’re not supposed to. Dimensions 41”x41”X20" Materials Wood, Acrylic Paint, Glass.
