Nassau Candy developed them as a replacement for Sunkist Fruit Gems, and they're the closest match we've found.The taste: A tender jelly under a sugar crust that crunches a little at first bite. Bright citrus (orange, lemon, grapefruit and lime) plus cherry and blueberry.Good to know: Light, soft and wrapped, they're a favorite for throwing at bar and bat mitzvahs, and just as good in candy buffets and favor bags. Kosher certification is the manufacturer's. Early cases may not show the symbol on the packaging yet, so check the bag if certification matters for your event.
