Pettenthal is one of the most famous appellations of Rheinhessen. The south-east facing slopes produce wines of international reputation. The interaction of the river, slope and soil conditions create exeptional wines. Apart of that the view is magnificent. This is the Grand Dame of Rieslings. Pettenthal is aristocratic, it only gradually reveals the full potential. It shows floral and citrus notes, is energetic and very delicate with a long, intense finish.
