An Evening with the Teachings of Ram Dass 🕉️❤️ Friday, October 23 | 7:00–8:30 PM The Museum of Modern Renaissance 115 College Ave, Somerville, MA Hosted by Phil Surette Join us for an evening of meditation, spiritual teaching and community inside the extraordinary Museum of Modern Renaissance in Somerville. We’ll begin with a group meditation led by Phil Surette, followed by a recorded lecture from Ram Dass, one of the most influential spiritual teachers of the past century. Ram Dass’s wisdom has helped millions of people navigate the spiritual path—exploring presence, love, suffering, identity, service and what it means to truly Be Here Now. After the teaching, Phil will lead an open Q&A and group discussion, giving us an opportunity to reflect on what we heard and explore how these teachings apply to our own lives and practice. Ram Dass remains a beacon of love, humor and wisdom, and we're excited for the opportunity to experience his teachings the way they were meant to be experienced—not simply as ideas, but together, in practice and in community. No previous meditation experience is necessary. Come as you are. 🙏❤️ What to Bring This will be a relaxed, floor-seated gathering. Please bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion, blanket, or anything else that will help you feel comfortable during the meditation and teaching. Chairs will also be available for anyone who prefers one.
