Antique lace dress 2

Antique Dress A generous pale blue afternoon tea dress made with bobbin lace. It comes with its original lining, giving the skirt just the right amount of volume for an elegant, gentle flare. There are no major tears, but there are minor signs of wear such as some staining — which is only natural, given that this antique piece has survived from a much earlier era and was clearly cherished and well cared for. Original period padding remains at the underarms, though the sponge-like filling inside has deteriorated. The padding itself can be removed, but the dress will be shipped as is. Please refer to all photos for reference. The staining may be improved with further cleaning. A very rare find in this condition. Would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
