Abbraccio Sculptural Floor Lamp

The Abbraccio by Korewolamp Light, held close The Abbraccio is a life-size sculptural floor lamp: a 78.7″ (200 cm) matte black human figure wrapping its arms around a cloud of spheres, with four glowing globes held close to its chest. Abbraccio means “embrace” in Italian. We imagined someone carrying everything they love at once, arms full, and found that the brightest things were the ones held nearest the heart. By day it is sculpture; by night, the light seems to come from the embrace itself.
