The Ultimate Balmenach 10yo 2016

The Ultimate Balmenach 10 years old 2016 is a Speyside single malt from the Balmenach distillery bottled by the Dutch independent bottler The Ultimate (van Wees). This Balmenach was distilled on the 5th of February 2016 and it matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry hogsheads 25 and 29. It got bottled in August 2026 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited edition double cask release. Nose: raisins, dates, dried figs and caramel with dark chocolate and warm spices Palate: rich and creamy with notes of toffee, candied orange zest, dried fruit and spicy oak Finish: long and warming with lingering sweet sherry aromas, chocolate and a pleasant spiciness
