Cuban PRA FSLN Soviet Supplied Belt with Star
This is a very rare, unicorn, Soviet export field belt dated 1982. The Soviets supplied Cuba, Grenada, the Sandanistas and other communist armies and insurgents around the world. This buckle has a simple star that does not have any tool marks on the front from someone grinding, milling or filing off the Soviet hammer and sickle motiff found on the common enlisted belt. I appears that the buckle was made in a press using the standard backing on the rear of the buckle but with a replacement mold on the front of the buckle. We have collected ComBloc for 50 years and have NEVER seen another one like it. Adjdusts to about 41.5 inches.
